This opportunity allows for up to 10 students to work on location at the Toyota Stadium assisting in the Football Championship Subdivision game.

2024 Division 1 Football Championship - Frisco, Texas

FCS Experience

The College Sports Lab at Texas A&M University and the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) established a partnership in 2015 and are proud to announce the continuation for the 2023-2024 year.

Through this partnership, students have the opportunity to assist professionals in the sport management field with the execution of the NCAA Division I Football Championship Game on January 6th, 2024!

This opportunity allows for up to 10 students to work on location at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. Students will be assisting the FCS staff with various duties leading up to and day-of the championship game. This experience allows students to work behind the scenes and get a glimpse at all of the moving parts required to successfully implement a large event. It also provides the opportunity to network and build long-lasting connections in the sports field.

To successfully run an event this large, various components are required. These include: media and corporate relations, marketing and promotions, game presentation, and event management. This involvement allows for current graduate and undergraduate TAMU students to gain a well-rounded experience. Our agreement with the Football Championship Subdivision is that our students will be supervised by Dr. Shane Hudson and assist the FCS staff as needed.
