After a four-game losing streak, the Aggies secured a much-needed win against Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Sunday, December 15 in Reed Arena.

It was a Lonestar Showdown at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX, on Sunday, December 8, between the long-time rivals, Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies. This was just the second time the two have met since the Aggies left the Big 12 to join the SEC in 2012. The last time the two met was in 2015 at the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament in the Bahamas where the Aggies defeated the Longhorns 84-73, ending a 5- game losing streak in the series.

A win is a win, am I right? The Texas A&M Aggies came out on top Wednesday night with a close and ugly match-up against Troy University. The Trojans came out of tip-off with fiery defense, holding the Aggies to a 12-5 advantage and forcing six turnovers in the first eight minutes of the game.

It was unseasonably cold in College Station Friday night, but over 10,000 Aggie fans turned out to rally behind the A&M Men’s basketball team for their first ranked matchup against No. 8 Gonzaga.
