AGGIE MEN'S BASKETBALL VS. MISSOURI

The Texas A&M Aggies swept the Missouri Tigers for the second time this season, concluding their season series at 2-0. The Aggies held the Tigers to a season-low of 18 points in the first half on just 23% shooting, trailing at halftime 25-18. Despite the bad offensive performance for the Tigers in the first half, they went on a 7-0 run early in the second half to get within one. However, the Aggies responded with a 10-0 run to push the lead to 43-31 and had the win secured and didn’t look back. Josh Nebo was instrumental in maintaining the lead for the Aggies, he had 18 points, scoring 15 of those in the last ten minutes setting a season-high 14 field-goal attempts. Although A&M shot only 34% from the field they made it up at the free-throw line, drawing 32 fouls and completing 25-of-37 free-throw attempts. They also outrebounded the Tigers 49-30, 23 of those being offensive rebounds, allowing for 20 second-chance points. Texas A&M advances to 11-10 on the season and 5-4 in conference play after beating Missouri 68-51. They look to improve their record Saturday, February 8, as they head to Columbia, SC to get revenge on the Gamecocks from their first matchup that took place this season.
