AGGIE MEN'S BASKETBALL VS AUBURN

The Texas A&M Aggies remain undefeated in Auburn Arena as they prevent the No.17 Auburn Tigers from clinching their first undefeated season at home since 1998-99 by securing a 78-75 win on March 4. The Aggies were slow to start, offensively, down 12-1 early on. But over the last twelve minutes, A&M outscored Auburn 23-9 leading 33-26 at halftime. Auburn opened the second half on a 9-0 run securing the lead 35-33. Josh Nebo was the man of the second half, he was the driving force on both ends of the floor, finishing the night with 19 points, 17 of those being in the second half. Wendell Mitchell buried a three-pointer from the top of the key with 1:13 remaining to extend the lead to 75-67. The game boiled down to the final seconds, where the free-throw line became the saving grace. The Texas A&M Aggies have the opportunity to finish the season above .500 in SEC play, as they host Arkansas in the regular-season finale on Saturday, March 7.
